Sacramento River Cats

Sacramento River Cats

Save Our Water and the Regional Water Authority teamed up with the Sacramento River Cats in 2010 to encourage fans to get real about water. The partnership included installing 110 restroom signs, a ticket voucher giveaway, joint online marketing, in-game advertising, and a Save Our Water presence at the April 22 and August 15 home games. Each of the 110 restroom stalls in Raley Field in West Sacramento, home of the River Cats, features an 18”x24” water conservation poster. At the Earth Day game (April 22nd), 1,500 fans received a free five-minute shower timer when they exited the ballpark. Fans also saw water conservation messages on the video board throughout each home game.

In July, 100 lucky River Cats fans received two free ticket vouchers for filling out a short water conservation survey. From July to September, fans saved up to 25% on regular ticket prices (with no service fees) by visiting the Save Our Water site and taking a short water conservation survey.
